A schizoid personality can be described as an eccentric personality; as the person with a schizoid personality has fanciful ideas that are far removed from reality, such as a belief in superstitions, clairvoyance and mind-reading, and the belief that they possess a ‘sixth sense’; they may also sometimes experience delusions and fantasies.
