Hypoactive sexual desire disorder in men is a sexual dysfunction characterised by a persistent or recurrent lack or absence of sexual fantasies and sexual desire in men for a period of more than six months.
Men who suffer from this disorder throughout their lives have not often engaged in spontaneous sexual thoughts; some cases of hypoactive sexual desire disorder in men are persistent across all relationships, circumstances and times, whilst others are situational, depending on the context.
